Our story
We are a family run business well known for our honest advice and high quality standards.
The origins of Lane Gems & Jewellery date back to 1972 when Christopher Lane began regular buying trips to Colombo, Bombay, Antwerp, Tel Aviv, New York and Bangkok and quickly became a primary source of imported gemstones in the Australian and New Zealand markets.
This history and our long-established international relationships gives us unequaled access to major markets to source our fully certified inventory of Diamonds, Natural and Unheated Rubies, Sapphires, Emeralds, Aquamarine, Pearls and other fine Gems. (GIA, HRD, Gubelin and GSL).
Entering the jewellery trade in 1988, after completing his apprenticeship, and joining his father in the family business, Cameron Lane successfully added jewellery design and manufacturing to the company's existing activities. Lane Gems & Jewellery specialises in the creation of unique and individually designed custom made jewellery.
We offer expert advice and guidance in the all important diamond and gemstone selection prior to design and manufacturing. Our long established business is based on referrals and repeat business and we are very proud of our large and loyal clientele.
